I cant understand weather or not you need to be registered to use plug ins. everybody contradics each other. Do you?

You don't need to be registered to use plugins in EV and EVO, but you do in Nova. 'Nova' includes the EV and EVO games for Nova, which are really just large plugins porting the original EV and EVO scenarios to the new engine.
