Would anyone play a TC made on the EVO platform rather than Nova?

Theoretically yes, but I'm probably a minority with all the new people arriving.
Yes, I would.

BOOOOOOYAAAHH,
I would play it, there really aren't many for EVO right now. I'm interested in knowing the answer to this question too because I'm working on an EVO TC.
------------------ Cmon people, the (url="http://"http://www.AmbrosiaSW.com/cgi-bin/ubb/forumdisplay.cgi?action=topics&number;=20&SUBMIT;=Go")Chronicles(/url) are worth looking at.
Probably, as my iMac will forever remain in OS9, but I would prefer it to be for the Nova engine.
------------------ The (url="http://"https://secure.ambrosiasw.com/cgi-bin/store/hazel.cgi?action=serve&item;=breakdown.html&BREAKDOWN;_SKUID=1480")Ambrosia Mac CD(/url) with other registrations - 5$. Paying for (url="http://"http://www.ambrosiasw.com/games/evn/")EV Nova(/url) as it's such a great game - 30$. The (url="http://"http://www.ambrosiasw.com/games/evn/tshirts.html")1337 EV Nova T-shirt(/url) - 22$. The (url="http://"http://w00tware.ev-nova.net/")NovaTools(/url) by wOOtWare to tinker with your Nova - FREE! The feeling you're a Nova geek - priceless. There are things money can't buy or that are free, for everything else, there's indeed Mastercard.
Sorry I took so long to reply. Cheers for the answer all.
Having a real life now eh? You bad boy
Just asking, but why EVO and not EVN? There are tons more features in EVN than EVO...

If it was good, I'd play it; I'd say that EVO's standards for plug-ins are lower, even though you could probably just as easily implement it in EVN.

Thats exactly the point, it's a heck of alot easier to make an EVO plugin. I'm doing a TC for EVO.
On a note of my own, I actually prefer developing for the EV (and especially EVO) engine. But that can simply be blamed on the fact that I've had many, many years to learn the ropes to EV/O plug developing and haven't taken a serious attempt to dig into Nova's engine.

I have a hard time believing that, aren't you the one who is working on that starcraft plugin?
I might. If it was on the level of FH, I'd play it. I don't think much else would be worth registering a copy of EVO and booting into Classic, when I can just play the EVO scenario with the EVN conversion.

It was my idea, yes. But I haven't put the plan into action yet.
