Just as a note, this was originally posted at the Dev Corner (url="http://"http://www.ambrosiasw.com/webboard/Forum9/HTML/005208.html")here(/url), so some comments may have already been covered. However, it may reach a different audience here, who are more likely to have played these TCs, so here goes:
Hello, all. As many know, I am the author of SpacePort, EVONE's utility to convert EV/EVO plugins to the Nova format. Obviously, the conversions are not absolutely perfect, but if there is enough interest, I plan on changing that, and making the perfect converter. I propose we find a well-known EVO Total Conversion, preferably with a still-active developer, and make it a project to convert it to Nova. I obviously haven't played every TC, but there are quite a few out there that must have been pretty good, with people that are/were familiar with the intricacies of the game.
After we have used the converter to update the files, all developers will play through the game, and/or hunt through the resources to find any errors in the conversion. As bugs are found, I will update the converter, and release a new version, hopefully fixing the problem.
This will hopefully accomplish two things: First, bring a well-loved TC from the EVO days, and bring it to Nova, and second, make a damn-near perfect converter, so everyone else can convert their favorite TC's themselves. Please comment on this idea, and make suggestions for a legitimate candidate (preferably one with a developer that does not mind if we port it to Nova).
Currently, the two presiding suggestions are F-25 2.0, and Empire I: War Without End. Obviously, Martin Turner's TCs are out of the question, as he is doing them himself, and would undoubtedly be better than anything we could release without his assistance. If anyone has any other suggestions, or has played or is willing to play the originals of these TCs, please respond. This will take a bit of time, though most of it will be playing the game and looking for discrepancies. This will be an open beta-test, of sorts; and you are all free to join in, or drop out, at any time.
Thank you for your time. ~ SpacePirate

I have played the original Mac versions of both F-25 2.0 and Empire I: War Without End. And I have the added honor of beta-testing F-25 2.1, and also got a good E-Mail relationship with Bomb as I sent him a lot of bugs. So I suggest F-25 2.0.

That seems to be the general consensus on the Dev board as well. Just FYI, the final version will indeed be an update of F-25 2.1, as it apparently contains many bug fixes from 2.0.
Hmm...well, I helped test F-25 as well...it was so long ago so I don't remember if I tested 2.0, but I think it was more likely 1.4 that I tested.
But in any case, as I no longer have my Mac, I can't test anything in the Mac version of EVN, only the Windows version.

I found a TC, (url="http://"http://www.AmbrosiaSW.com/webboard/Forum8/HTML/005061.html")here(/url), go look at it yourself.
