Maybe someone can verify this for me...

This applies mostly to any of you that have access to the original game. I have been working on making some fixes to the EVO TC with some generous help from Dr. Trowel. My main goal is to make things as close as possible to the original game, not necessarily fixing problems. I'm enjoying the game too much at the moment to start fiddling with things too badly. On a side note the first version of the fix (mainly adjusting the comp govt fields to the correct values) is on Dr. Trowel's web page if anyone wants it.

Anyway, I noticed that the first Voinian mission requires a clean or better record with the Vionian government, yet the pay value IS a clean record. Logically I would think that the record requirement should be something much lower. Could someone please check on that for me? Thanks!

Are you talking about misn 182 (Aid the Voinians!)? If so, it doesn't have a legal record requirement. If it is 0 in the files, this means that it is ignored, not 'this high or better'.

I can confirm.

There are things you can't buy or that are free, for everything else, there's indeed Eurocard Mastercard.

I likely would have noticed that eventually... I thought (at the time) -1 was for ignore, whereas 0 required at least a clean record.

I also noticed later that Pax has an independent government, not Voinian as I had assumed from the shape of the station. The moral of this story is: don't think too hard about programming type stuff at 3AM.

Thanks for the replies though.
