Twice it happened something strange to my default character. First In the mudy place front of the bridge 1 south 1 West of Fantrima (to reach the fantrima Tunnel entrance). I thought, I'bought too heavy blacksmith's supplies iron shoes..., but when I drop everything it didn't change anymore to the problem. The second is in the swamps cave before delivering the general. Impossible to walk, the character stay on his place, walking without success and is unable to fight vs opponents. One issue save and restart game. Is it a bug ?

It sounds like you got "stuck." Were there any trees nearby? Sometimes I've heard of people walking into trees and getting stuck, without being able to move. If you've got a monster behind you, it might be the case that they are blocking you so that you can't get out. As to not being able to fight did you press "x" and let the game auto-select your target for you, instead of using the mouse?
If you get stuck and no monsters are around, if you save and restart are you unstuck or still stuck?
Also have you upgraded to v1.0.1 yet? If not, do so.
And please, read your posts before you submit them. Make sure they are grammatically correct and that they make sense. I almost didn't bother to reply to this post because it was so painful to read. I can certainly understand if english is not your native language(not sure if it is), but what you wrote is beyond non-native inexperience. I'm not trying to discourage you from posting, just trying to help you make posts that people are willing to read so that they will be able to help you.
Good luck

Addendum to the above(figured an edit would be missed).
There are no mud pits or other such quagmires that will catch and hold your character to make him unable to move. As I posted above it could be that you are blocked in by a monster. If not then it is a bug that you are unable to move.
You might also try to move with the arrow keys instead of your mouse. Sometimes I've had my mouse lost contact before for brief periods of time. But if you try everything and still can't move then it is most likely a bug.
Again, good luck.
Sorry for my very poor "english" but I don't use it to write, nor speak... But I try. I'm better in French... And thanks for your courage in answering to me. No trees near and nothing around which could stick the character... In the swamps I used the arrows keys. The best mean with the bow of destruction. No problem with my trackball (better than a mouse). If I save and restart, I'm unstuck. PoG version is 1.0.1 on CD
Huh, that is odd. I'd say send an email to help@ambrosiasw.com outlying your problem to them. Do so in the fashion you just posted with also(good post). Also include what your computer setup is as well(Operating System, RAM, clock speed(ie, mhz)) and send it to that email address. Hopefully someone there can either give you a fix, or note the problem, attempt to duplicate it, and then create a fix for it.

Uhhh, and if YOU would have bothered to read his mail properly you would have noticed that he's from France. Now, before you patronise people, how's your french?
Pardon me for not realizing that everyone who lives in france has to be a native french speaker. I guess I just assumed that with the current state of the EU, not to mention the multitudes of people living in foreign countries, that he may not be a native french speaking person. Hence I phrased my wording to be general to those that do not speak english natively.
As far as how my french is, that is not relative. I am not posting on a board where the posters post in french. Nor am I posting this message in french. If the poster had posted his question in french then I would not have answered his question. Since he chose to post in english I asked only that he clean it up so that it is more understandable.
My posts were not patronizing, or at least, not meant to be so. The poster in question certainly didn't allude to feeling patronized. My post, in addition to first answering his question, was to point out that what he posted was ugly in syntax, spelling, and grammer, to the point of being confusing. And that if he wished people to respond to him that it would help to clean it up. And if you read his follow up post you will have noticed that he did indeed "clean it up" very well.
OK, briefly, because I don't want this to get out of hand.
1. "Patronising" means "talking down to people". This you certainly did. To quote you: "And please, read your posts before you submit them. Make sure they are grammatically correct and that they make sense." If this is not talking down to someone then I don't know what is.
2. You didn't bother to read up about the country of origin of the writer before replying. To quote you again: "I can certainly understand if english is not your native language(not sure if it is), but what you wrote is beyond non-native inexperience" In the writers stats it is clearly stated that he is from France.
I am not sure what you mean "about the current state of the EU". People from France speak french, people from Germany speak german, just as they always have. This guy is making an effort to write in a - for him - foreign language. Rather than welcoming him and trying to help him you wrote a rude reply. Now, let's take a look at your own writing skills - and I take it that English is your first language:
"My post, in addition to first answering his question, was to point out that what he posted was ugly in syntax, spelling, and grammer, to the point of being confusing. And that if he wished people to respond to him that it would help to clean it up."
There should be no comma before the "and" in your first sentence.
"grammer" is spelled incorrectly. "grammar" is the correct spelling.
The fragment "if he wished people to respond to him" should be enclosed by commata however. in addition, the second "that" in the same sentence is not needed and doesn't make sense.
I could carry on, but that would be nitpicking. All I am saying is, be polite to people who make an effort to communicate with you in a language that is not their own. Especially as you appear to be sitting in a glasshouse yourself.

mm, ya And with that lets end this so that if horses'sfriend has any other questions, we can work on his problem, and not beat on each other.

Peace, brother. So be it
I actually understood horse'sfriend just fine. It wasn't at all painful. I've read much worse from people who actually have English as a native language. Not to mention that I've also heard worse!
I just wanted to add that occasionally during combat I find that I can't move. I think it's supposed to add to the realism of someone beating you senseless. You can't ALWAYS run away. But if you're just walking around with no monsters in sight and you get stuck, that's definitely a bug. And nope, this one has not happened to me.
Hope that helped clarify a bit.

It's not a battle, but the meaning of Help I asked a question and I received an answer. Sure I would prefer courtesy than roughness. But if people is rough, my english is poor. What I think on this subject : "Il y a le fond et il y a la forme". In everything, the main point is moderation.

Then I've not encountered that particular problem. I've just been momentarily stuck in combat, not frozen in place and forced to restart.
Sounds as if there's a few buggies left in the game. Are they planning an update?
