For those of you wishing you could play EVO with the EVNgine's features (and don't want to restart your pilot):
Open Beta test for Pilot Converter 3.0
Pilot Converter converts the original EV and EVO pilot files into EVN formatted pilots files for use with the EV and EVO TCs made for the Nova engine. It also converts Macintosh EVN pilot files to Windows EVN pilot files, and vice-versa. (url="http://"http://www.hellskitchen.org/~seant/EV/PilotConvert/pilotConverter3b.sit")http://www.hellskitc...Converter3b.sit(/url)
All testing to this point has show it to be working 100%, but I need more input from users before I post the utility to the add-ons page. SO, if you are interested, please give it a shot and email me at seant@hellskitchen.org to let me know what results you get; even if you try it and find no problems, just drop me a line letting me know it seemed to work. Alternately, post something here. I don't hover on the boards, but when I announce a new utility, I try and check things at least once a day.

I can't get it to run on my emulator. It gives me one of those "this program is damaged or won't work on this computer." If this can't be fixed will there be a windows version? I've conquered 3/4 of the galaxy and I'm not about to start over.

I'm working on a windows version in the evenings. Hopefully, I'll have a very basic working version by this coming Monday.
I'm interested in why it doesn't run on your emulation. If it doesn't emulate a PPC chip, it won't run. Alt, what mac OS is it running. I tested only on OS 9.2 and 10.2

OS 8.1. I wouldn't worry about it though it's unstable and has trouble running most things anyway. But that's great news about the windows version. How well does it port it over? I.E. are all the correct bits set and everything is just the way it was in EVO? What about cross platform conversions?
D'oh. Sorry double post.

To be honest, I have not extensively tested the porting of mac EVO to winNova+EVO plugins. The way it currently works is, the user takes the EVO pilot and turns it into a mac EVN pilot. Then they take that new EVN pilot and turn it into a window's pilot. 2 steps, yes, but it is meant to be drag and drop.
In the EVO to mac EVN conversion, everything seems to be 1:1. The onnly draw back is that active missions are not translated.
I'll let you know what I have a working window's version.
