Before the planet F-25 is set up the Miranu ask if you would escort a convoy past North Tip Station and on to F-25 but the convoy just doesn't turn up. Why is this happing. It has anoyed me for ages.

:smiles: Well, you need to start a new pilot in order to play F-25. Contact me on AIM. I've tried Sprint Teardown and Dr.Doom, and they won't work.

Use LoneIgadzra, that one worked for me when I played it.
I will check that out.

It has been fixed for version 2.0.1.

Except that... well, it is not for others than me and Kauthor to play. So does he just wait until its done? Does he get special permission to get a beta copy, because his copy is otherwise unplayable?

Negative on all counts, as in:
1. No, not just you and Kyle. I play it too.
2. No, he won't need to wait long- it's nearly done.
3. No, he won't get special permission to get a beta copy
4. No, it isn't unplayable if you start your own pilot to play the plug-in.
Shot down on all counts.

Ok I'm new to the boards so please excuse any breaking of accepted etiquette. I'm very glad to hear that there is a newer version of f-25 on the cards, I'm currently playing the previous one and thoroughly enjoying it. I've come up against some of the bugs described on the boards but with a little perseverance have managed to work round them, anyway with a plug in of this imagination and scope they're just a minor distraction. However a little bit of help would be appreciated. I have two pilots on the go and one is stuck on the first Kytaan mission, locate and destroy the Querin strike force. Now I've flown all over that sector and taken out almost every Querin ship I could find, but still there is no response when I reland on Kytaar. Am I hitting the right ships ?, I could find none that showed up on the targeting system as part of a strike force. I doesn't help that I am a felon all over that part of space.
Cheers Big Biffer
The felon rating problem can be solved by going to the 2nd planet in the Kytaan system and buying a K. Legal Booster. The Querin Strike Force are in systems adjacuent to the place where you got the mission.

1. Ofcourse the developer plays too. I was only counting the testers. I didnt know Kyle was testing too though.
2. It is? Sweet! I thought it was months because of my slow advancement in strings. For various reasons explained in E-Mail.
3. Just asking, thats OK. Asked only because his copy will be unplayable until the fix.
4. Ofcourse its playable for me- I created several more pilots after the first one. But because 2.0 has this bug, it is unplayable for him.
Explained on all counts
kauthor: I knew you could get a Q. Legal Booster from backwater planets. But I didnt know the Kytaan had a Legal Booster too. I have to try that. Bomb tried to fix the problem itself by giving rewards of 200.
You're welcome, Cade Smart.

What other betas are there than this one and the EVN project?
EVN Project is VERY BIG For me. I am not working with Bomb on this. 60 MB. Well, I have this, that, and that.
I dont know anything about it because I havent been told, but I can imagine it to be very big considering the size of EVN. 60 MB is absolutely huge. Its one third of Nova itself at 180 MB, and several times larger than EVO. I dont remember how many times though. Probably 4? You dont? I thought you were working together with Bomb. But this, that, and that doesnt tell me anything. I need names, unless you want to keep the projects secret.
One has to be kept a secret. The other is Unity, P.2.

I no longer have an EVN project. My only current work is on F-25 b. 2.0.1, which now has my full attention, and I expect it to be finished shortly.

I am completely amazed. Why did you stop working on the EVN project, did it take too much time? But its also good news, because this means you can reply to my bug E-Mails more often! Its awesome if it will be finished shortly. It has been my work for 3 months, and is becoming frustating because of the number of bugs. I have been slow to advance strings for reasons told in E-Mail. It could have been a ideal opportunity: play both major strings + Xarnez before them, and have a unique change to report all bugs, typos, too hard missions, and new features at the same time. But now I am still at the beginning of the Xarnez missions (Destroy Kytaan Fleet at Neeg). Speaking of which, you have a new bug report mail in your inbox. Has already been for 6 days. The Neeg mission is too hard in a critical way which means I am unable to proceed unless you supply a quick fix or I cheat.
