I haven't played EVO in a while but I've recently been hit with nostalgia. I plan on starting a new pilot with which I hope to achieve the U.E. central objective as well as all three strand mission strings. I've downloaded Triple Agent. I plan to go from Igadzra, to Zidagar, then Azdgari. After that I'll go back and beat the crap out of the Voinians, then do whatever other missions in the game are left. As soon as I get an Igazra I plan to keep it.
Now, how should I go about all of this? What's the best way to use Triple Agent? What ship should I fly until I get an Igazra? Should I then actually keep that Igazra or go for an Azdara? What else would make this challenge I've taken upon myself smoother? And why the hell is everything in the Crescent so hard to spell?

The first ship I buy after the Shuttlecraft is usually the Scoutship. With the Scoutship, I go up to Miranu space and do the MTC missions. I make money in the Crescent to get an Arada, soup it up, etc. Then I buy myself a Miranu Freighter (the yellow one) and do the Munb-Himgro run, hiring escorts when I get rich enough. I keep doing that until I have enough to buy and upgrade a Crescent Warship. And then? Then it's time to kick ass and chew bubble gum.

I believe it say in the readme in which order to do the strand missions. If you don't do them in that order you can get a few problems since some planets are gonna be blown up. To do the azdgari missions you're gonna have to switch to a onejump ship, so get the Igazdra later
Hey, that's really funny. I've been hit with nostalgia too and just started a new pilot.
Well, I can tell you that I plan to go about buying ships a little differently this time, just to make things interesting; normally I go from Shuttle to Cargo Transporter (better than Scoutship in just about every way except fuel), and while I've done that, I'm not going to get an Arada this time like I used to -- the value of that ship is just way too good, and I'd like more of a challenge by going with a Crescent Fighter first. That should be kind of interesting. After that, no Lazira for me, I'll look for something else. Who knows, I'm usually a fast ship kind of person, but I might check out the UE Cruiser this time around.
