When/where/how do you get the explore the Ji nebluae missions? Should i have a beefy ship for them? After that, what can i do?

You can acquire them from the Miranu. I believe you must do the Diplomatic Relations mission with the UE and have an ultimate combat rating. You'll need to go to Station Pybin, in the Priat System in southern Miranu space. Go to the bar there, it's where all the scientist-types hang out.

You need to take out several Crescent Warships, and also an Igazra warship...
So you do need something better than an Arada..
Unfortunately, you can't do it with an Azdara, as you need to haul some cargo around.

Yes, fighting a Igazra is pretty spookey. You need a Crescent Warship with Dospect, all speed upgrades, and max SADs. Though I did this once in a Igazra myself. I was in middle of the Igadzra string and had gotten it already. I fired 25 SADs on it (2 missed), and then started firing my Phase Turrets. I got to armor even after two dozen devastive SAEs and the power of 5 turrets. But what is the cargo carrying? Its been so long since I did, so I have forgot...

I don't remember the Igazra being so tough, I probably Monty Pythoned it with a Lazira or something..

Ah. The NPD missions? The Nebula Penetration Device itself is massless. It was tough, because I had a capital ship brawl instead of Monty Pythoning. It was a short range away, and I fired until I could see it, then I switched to primaries.
This is kinda off the subject, but i just got the Attack the Rock mission, and I thought I destroyed all the ships, but when returning to Outpost Zachit, nothing happened. How did you guys do that mission? and with what ship, etc.
Make sure there are some Zachit ships in the Rock System, and no renegades.

That takes a lot of jumping in and out. Zachit rarely are in North Tip Sation either. And since its a Renegade base, theres bound to be renegades. I think i just quote a old post for a real solution. Cloak, Dospect, and some nice escorts.
Mikhailovich, try just jumping into the Rock's system, blowing up every renegade there, and then going back to Zachit. If more jump in when you're leaving, that shouldn't matter.
