Kauthor is Zachit. However, in Shadows Dawning, he was (forgive the frankness) somewhat slow to react to Renegade threats to my Miranu systems. If he writes the Zachit seriously this time, then I am fine with a North Tip Renegades player. Do keep in mind that there are other renegade factions scattered throughout the galaxy, so the North Tip is not the only Renegade faction available.

I suppose this is a fair balance...I might have to pull the old Zidagar alliance though, seeing as we have decided the Zachit pilots are no better than the Renegade ones, leaving numbers to be the true judges. Although, I do remember there being Crescent Fighters in the Miranu navy. (I had them in Shadows Dawning, but that doesn't mean I have to have them here. It's all up to you guys.)

I remember it being per post...but they were large numbers, on the order of 30-80 posts for new research. Perhaps we should lower these numbers to keep the story flowing quickly? Or was the logic behind long research completion times a hope for people posting quickly and consistently to get the research done?
Just a thought.
(EDIT2) Sorry to be so nitpicky today, but I notice there aren't any Miranu Couriers in the fleet readouts. Are they just assumed to be flying around everywhere across the Galaxy? (Because if that's the case, then we can use that to explain away lightning fast communication and say the Miranu use the couriers as message beacons or whatever.)

It's like a pirate. They attack everybody, board ships, and plunder.
One more thing I think we should all do is keep track of how many ships we have on paper, or Appleworks, or SimpleText or something. And if you want to, you can maybe write a plan of what weapons to develop, what ships and or fleets to build, ect.

Making a plan is a bit silly since you don't know what everyone els is going to do.
