After extensive playing of F-25 on Saturday and Sunday, I thought to make a guide to to lesser know things in it. Fuel Pod and Deuterium Armor are newer-known-before things (I did search)
If you want a good ship for 15 million, get a Centauran Cruiser. A well kept secret, it is a good upgrade from UE Cruiser. It has great armor (higher than Voinian Cruiser), many turrets, fighters, lots of weapon space. You can get it from Centari space, inside the Great Expansion, 2 jumps forward from a Bomarii mining station.
If you want to get a fuel tank that gives you more than one jump, that's possible. It is a second fuel tank that has three jumps in its description, and it weighs 10 tons. It's called Large Fuel Tank. It's sold on the most advanced systems (such as UX-006).
If you want to spend less time in hyperspace, that's possible too.
If you want a sidestring in Querin space, go to Ra'Fu in QU-0005 system. You get a Tryakk exploration string there.
If you want to get a fuel tank that gives you more than three jumps, go to Teskun system, almost straightforward from QU-0005 system. It is a Fuel Pod, a fuel tank that looks larger than normal, has in it description four jumps, and weighs 10 tons. If you started the Tryakk exploration string, you got it from the mission and it costs nothing.
This is the most secret thing in this thread and the plug. If you want want to get heavy armor but Dragon Plating weighs too much, go to Teskun system, almost straigtforward from the QU-0005 system. There you get Deuterium Armor, armor that is heavier than Dragon Plating (description says magnificient), but weighs only 20 tons (!!)
If you want to start the Tryakk string(!), try Tryakk in the Tryakk system. I got after I did the second Tryakk exploration mission Find the Supplies and the second Galactus Group mission Find the Spy.
This one of the most secret thing in the plug. To work for the Centaurans, you need to understand their language. To understand their language, you need a language translator. To get a language translator, you have to get the Tryakk to like you, courtesy of Glenn.

Rock on, bro. What version are you playing? It sounds like you're playing 1.4, which isn't the newest available.. Download 2.0 sometime and give it a look. If you think 1.4 had a few secret missions, you haven't seen anything.. 2.0, in addition to all completely re-written mission strings, also offers 4 or 5 mission split points, which allow you to choose which ways you go. By far superior to the older versions.

I'm honored to get answer from the developer itself. I thought about getting 2.0, but finish the first one first. But yes, re-written string and 5 split points sound good.
I started 2.0 but the mission were you escort a convoy to F-25 past North Tip station just doesnt complete. I tried it several times but no luck. So i stuck with 1.4.

It's possible that you need to escort them somewhere, land there, then go back to where you started, or even a third location. What did the mission text say?

Escort this convoy through the herreka system to F-25. When i did some research in resedit i found that you need to take it to a system that is in the new galaxy(most people probobly changed it to Herreka) then to F-25. I wasnt sure if my skills are up to the task of changing a number :rolleyes:.

I'm surprised I didn't catch that in testing.. Something got buggered, I suppose.

This is found in a ancient thread: in the Nujja system.
Last secret posted as separate reply. This is another thing that is the most secret in the plug. If you go to Teskun, you will find Duel-Blast Turrets. Duel-Blast Turrets are uniquely heavy and you can only have 2 of them, but they are more powerful than anything in the plug. They fire faster than Blaze (speed 1100), but are almost as powerful as Neutron, and equally powerful shields and armor (Mass Damage 15 Energy Damage 15). The description says "incredible speed and power".
