I've also posted this on the Nova board but I haven't got much of a response.
I'm organising a TC which will put the EV:O galaxy on the Nova Engine. The story is new however. It's set 50 years after the original EV:O and the Voinians have been eradicated. But there is a new, much larger threat... New ships, new outfits, new missions.
If there is anyone here that has had experience with both engines help would be greatly appricated. I still need some story and mission writers. Please?

Well, I've thought of a similar thing, only based on (url="http://"http://www.AmbrosiaSW.com/webboard/Forum20/HTML/000107.html")New Beginnings(/url) by Captain Whitehawk. Basically a "New Horizons, but for EVO. (Play the EV plug "New Horizons and you'll get what I mean.)
Also, Captian Skyblade mentioned he might want to do an EVO on EVN once he's finished with his upcoming EV plug "Resolution."
As for me, I've got college and an EVN plug coming, so it doesn't look like I'll be able to help. Sorry.

I wish you the very best of luck. Please let it come soon! EVO is my favourite EV by far, but I've got it on an old Powere PC and it doesn't really work that well. But I have EVN on my iMac, and I've been looking for a plugin that will convert EVN to EVO. Unfourtunatly I cant help you as I have no previous experience with making plug-ins. Wait...I'm confused. Is Port Authority actually a plug that puts the EV/O galaxy onto the Nova engine or is it something that people can use to put EV/O files onto Nova?

No, I believe he was asking if Port Authority was the EVO scenario for Nova, or a means to play EVO files in Nova.
Port Authority has the converted scenarios of EV and EVO using the Nova engine. In addition, your EV and EVO plugins will be able to be easily converted into compatitble plugins for the EV-Nova and EVO-Nova scenarios.
What about Pilot Files from EVO to EVN?

ill try. i am makeing a TC for Nova that converts it to nova with out loseing any nova only stuff like engine glow, and missions in the shipyard. so i can help.
