I'm very very sorry for asking a dumb question but I tried searching and can't find an answer.
So whats a forklift? :redface: I can sumise from what I've heard that it's some sort of weapon but how and were to I get it and is it some plug in. Must I be registered?

The Forklift is the nuclear bomb of the 23rd century. No, you don't need to be registered to get it. At the startup screen, Option-click on the title. At the end, it will say "MCB 4:35 AM". When you see this, hold down Shift-Ctrl-Option-Cmd-F. Hold it down until you hear the song "They tried to kill him with a forklift!" The loaded pilot will now be equipped with the forklift. Just cycle through your secondary weapons to find it and have fun.
EDIT: Use the same process to get it in the original Escape Velocity. There isn't a forklift in Nova, so don't try.

Quite a bit. It's actually rather boring to use, since it allows you to go around destroying things with no real risk except the possibility of getting blown up by the blast if you use it at too close range.

Yeah. It's funny for a while, but it gets so boring being able to waste anything in the galaxy. It just gets so old.

Somebody made a plgu-in called Return of the Forklift. So you can use Forklifts in Nova.

Forklifts are best used when you fight a Helian for 10000 th time and you know you will survive (Even a Freight-Courier can, as long as it has a extra Blaze Turret. Then you can take 2 down before you go to armor.) ,when you meet Frigates that aren't a part of mission and you don't want to use 40 SAD Modules.
