For those of you who have their fingers itching to flame me, you can stop reading and go waste your time on something else 'cause I've already did a search but none of the previous posts answer my question.
With that said... I've recently started playing EVO again since I've beaten all 6 strings in EVN and the lack of TCs kind of made it boring. After completing all the missions in EVO, I started playing ROTUE. Everything was fine until I was stuck in this mission where the UE government had a meeting on Luna about how to deal with the kidnapping of McPherson. Then that French dude suggested to meet someone he knows on system Niot (sp?). However, when I got into the system Niot, I couldn't land on the planet Lawit (sp?). It said landing request denied!? So since I happened to be in an UE Drednaught, I decided to put the tiny planet out of its misery and conquered it. When I landed, nothing happened. So finally, I set the planet free and that little bastard won't let me land again. Anyway, any help is deeply appreciated.
Oh yeah, sorry about my attitude at the top of this post. I'm just as tired of seeing people flaming others as I'm tired of seeing idiots post questions before they run a search.

I have ROTUE tons of time. There should be a UE Secret Base in Niot System. Press 3.
If you are unable to land on a planet, it's not always wise to just take it over. If a mission requires that you land on a planet, you will be allowed to, no matter what your status. If you can't land on it, it is probably not the right planet.

F3, you mean...

My mistake. Well. either F3, or 3. It depends on Laptop and Desktop,
Thanks for the tip. It's no wonder the planet wouldn't let me land. The "Secret UE Base" is right underneath Lawtwit... or something like that. Anyway...
Now I'm stuck again! I'm at the mission where I'm supposed to escort a defense fleet from Lapen to Irid. I enter the Iri system and this huge fleet of UE Cruisers and Destroyers followed me. I sat around for about 5 seconds, nothing happened so I landed on Irid... and still, nothing happened. :frown:
You will be escorting a MASSIVE FLEET! It take a minute to get the fleet there.
I know that your question about Latwit was answered, but...How come you didn't read the ROTUE ReadMe file that it came with? Or did you get too lazy to read it?

Honestly, 98% of the time I don't read readmes. Why? Simply because I'm not a teenager with too much time on my hands anymore (as I was when EVO first came out and back then I did read readmes :)). But before you flame me, keep in mind that before I post any questions here, I do run a search first...
BTW, I waited for the fleet to appear, I jumped into Irid, the fleet came with me, but when I landed on Irid, still nothing happens :frown: (I read the readme, as a matter of fact, but still clueless :frown:)

I know what you mean, I was getting alot of that problem too, nothing happens when I bring the fleet to the Iri system. I hacked into the ROTUE plug-in (at least I think I did) and found nothing out of the usual but it kept happening anyways.
Eventually I just aborted many times over until I actually got the mission to complete itself. I still don't know why it does that, hmm I guess it's one of those dang weird bugs that can't be fixed (or can it?).
