I heard rumors that iTools is no longer offering free space storage or something. Well, the point is, something is no longer going to be free. If someone knows what's really going on, can they please explain exactly what's going on?

Apple makes it quite clear: iTools was becoming very popular and Apple couldn't afford to keep supporting it as a free service. It is now called ".Mac", and for $100 a year, you get 100 MB of webspace instead of 20 MB, 15 MB of email server space instead of 5 MB, as well as other services (such as their virus protection software). Existing members of iTools can take an introductory offer (good until late September) to pay $50 for the first year of use.
Members can also convert to a free, email-only account.
I hope that cleared that up for you.

We can? Where does Apple say that? All I need from iTools right now is email, so that would be nice if we could keep the free email account.
