EV:O on OS X

It's been a while since I've posted, but then again, it's been a while since I've had a working mac. Just bought an eMac to replace the PC and it's well worth the money! Even bought an iSub to help with my musical persuits :).

Anyway, I've been trying to run EV:O in classic (OS 9.2) but it crashes every couple of minutes. Not just the program either, the whole computer freezes (which is very dissapointing, since I was promised that the OS X operating system was not capable of crashing). When the computer crashes a bunch of text appears on top of the EV:O program and it appears to be waiting for a remote debugging process which doesn't happen.
Can anyone help or have my efforts to play EV:O been thwarted again.

Try playing EVN instead. 🙂 Maybe EVO isn't compatible with OSX, but I doubt it. Maybe its your computer or maybe its just you. 🙂

EV/EVO and Classic I have found simply don't mix well.

When the EVO scenario is ported to the Nova engine, those problems should cease.

I rarely use Classic if I can help it. Its much simpler just to start up in System 9 (does the eMac come with system 9? I can't remember...). Classic is a very buggy piece of software which should never have been released in its present form.

I simply don't use OS 9 programs. Currently the only Classic program I have is ResEdit, which crashes in both OS 9 and Classic, so it doesn't really matter.
