When I went to Gwyden Camp after killing all of the kobolds south of it (6, I counted), the husband won't leave and I can't complete the quest! There aren't any more kobolds, I'm sure of it. What can I do?
Look for more. There are 2 types of kobolds: normal ones(black eyes) and the ones you need to kill to complete the quest(red eyes). They are spread across 2 screens: the one directly south of the Gwynden Camp, and the one directly west of that screen.
Wander around, kill all the red eyes, then go talk to the hubby again.

I found those "special Kobolds" on the TWO screens leading to Gwyden Camp. I recognize them because they look like they have chrome-domes. I though I needed to rid the road of all of them (therefore the particular Kobolds on both screens). You might at least go back on the road from the screen just below Gwyden Camp to see what I mean...

No way, its much less than 15.
More like 8 or 9.
I should know since I did it with a level 5 conjurer and each kobold was a painful battle for survival.

Here's the count I got just now in completing this quest:
On the screen directly below (South) of Gwyden Camp = 9 Kobolds On the screen South one and West One = 6 Kobolds (some red-eyed guys)
I'm pretty sure I had to get rid of all fifteen to clear the road, but maybe only the 9 who are directly South of Gwyden Camp...
