I've heard of people who have. I never did because I never tried. I'm certain it's possible, though, and I think there are people on this board who have.

A good many people have destroyed the Disco Bison, including myself. Not hard, just bombard the bugger from a distance.

Since it's got the emalghian turret, which can only fire in a 90° arc, all you've got to do is shoot him from right behind. It's not easy but can be done

I have killed the Disco with my decked out CW. But then again I had 3 CW and 3 Igadzra escorts, still pretty hard though.

I used ResEdit to give the Disco Bison a shield mod of 1% and took away his weaponry. I also made it so that he appears 100% of the time in the Sol system so that I can kill him immediately upon creating a new pilot.

No, I havn't killed it, but Ive been it (ultimate ships plug) and, I want to share, but i don't know how to make links. If you want the plug though just look on this board for a topic called "cheas and tips" there is a link somewhere in there that has that and a whole bunch of other cool plugs on it. By the way, on ultimate ships, you can get the kestrel frigate and the frog too for one credit :D. And i think it'S a bug but whenever I go to the outfit ship thing with that guy, I don't have the machine gun anymore. :frown:

Add me to the list of people who have killed the 'Bison. I initiated combat, then left my escorts to take the heat while I concentrated on staying out of his arc of fire. I didn't call them off until he was disabled. Think I lobbed in a load of Pursuit missiles, but it might have been SADs. Didn't attempt capture though... the board community had already told me that it reverts to a stock Emalgha ship if you get it.

Sounds like a good plan, but I assume that the list is for people who have killed the 'Bison' as long as they didn't cheat using forklifts or a cheat plug-in like Shayborg's Super Crescent Warship, right?
