(edit)Ohhh, " am I a newbie". Sorry, thought you said "I am a newbie". Well, the answer is... I dunno. It depends on how much you know about EVO. You might be a newbie in EV and EVN, and your surely a newbie at Banter & Brawl.
Do you have any questions?
Welcome to the boards.

Generally, the term "newbie" ("newbie" has three definitions: positive, neutral, and negative) is applied to a person who is new to the community (neutral). However, that doesn't mean that a newbie can't prove that they are better than their registration date (positive). The same goes for some of us oldies; I can think of a few people that have been around for a while, but still act like newbies (negative).
Just hang loose, read some posts to get the general feel of the community, then try to fit in. We're a forgiving bunch, so it shouldn't be too hard.

Wow!!!grunadulater and -REDCHIGH- are all over me is it not good to say the word newbie? Or do they just pick on people who ask a good question.

James most definately wasn't - there was no offence intended there, and don't mind Dave - he just never really got around to growing up. He means well, though.
You are, however, correct. Saying the word "newbie" when relating to yourself is, as they say, asking for it. Imagine walking into a military camp in Germany during WWII and shouting; "Am I a Jew?!"
Oh, and by the way...asking a good question usually involves a question mark. Just a hint.

Yes and no. You're a newbie to these boards, in the sense that you've just registered and (presumably) don't know your way around that well. That's not a bad thing. Everyone is a newbie at one point. Even the moderators were newbies at one time. You're not a newbie to EV/O, since, as you said, you've been 'playing for two years and have done most missions.'
Hm...I use too many periods.

I'd say you are a newbie to these boards. Post count of three is usually an indication of this, except in rare circumstances. As for the Hellhound, I hear that it can be warded off with puntuation. Eat correctly placed commas, foul three headed spawn of Heck!

Simple. Newbiness is relative. You are a newbie to the boards, but not to the game. And get a nil'keymora jammer.

what about someone who doesn't post much at all but lurks alot, would that be a newbie? looks at his registration date and then his post count

Are you asking if you're a newbie? If you are, you know the answer.

Silverfox, Pring.
Oooo ok I think.
Thanks.
Don't ask yourself whether you're a newbie or not, it's just a label. Just post away with reasonable things and don't look back upon your first post (especially not in this case).
