Some days ago I realised that I haven´t completed Override yet. I want the galaxy! Well, it´s easy to say, but....
I know many people have done it, so how do you beat
-Council Station -Voinia -Zidara
What kind of escorts are the best for these? Do you use a special stratey?
It´s not like I die, while fighting Voinia, but two hours tore me down, does it really take that long or longer? Does anybody know how many ships they sent out?

I try not to take down capital planets because they take to damn long! I tried taking over Igadzra which isn't that hard (I was doing fine) but I had to wait for days on end, playing the game for three or four hours a day. I finally had to give up. There are literraly thousands of ships that come out of those capital planets. Just take over all surrounding systems.

You can get a map with lots of nice green circles on it by capturing minor bases in the same system as the stupidly-hard-to-dominate worlds. Since the powerful homeworlds are each worth only 1000 credits a day, they're hardly worth capturing anyway.
If you really, really feel that your life won't be complete until you have captured them, you'll need to fill the system with ships before you demand tribute. You can do this by launching 36 fighters. (You know how to load up on more fighters that you're really meant to carry, right?)
Thought for the day: do disabled ships count towards the in-system ships limit? If so, you could probably work a pretty good scam by disabling passing traders. I have never seen this tactic mentioned before, though, os it probably wouldn't work. Anyone care to try it?

They do. But traders don´t jump in after you´ve demanded tribute. So it would only work in UE and Voinian systems. And only to certain a point, then the cruisers/carriers stop launching fighters.
Which escorts do you consider the best? Anyways, I´ve got some days off, So I´ll have try

I just got Council Station after a 3.5 hours battle. Voinia took me 3. So I´m off to Zidagar I haven´t looked at earth yet, is it hard?
Well, I've found not every capital is hard. I've captured the Azdgari system. Practically my whole map is green.
