The next version of Advance will include this Emalgha Carrier. It's a serious threat for a Voinian Frigate, though the frig will usually win. It's also rather rare in the Emalgha fleet so as not to upset the balance.
Any comments? Does it look too sleek to be Emalgha?

I have to say it looks really, really ugly. Extend the main section out in front and add a third pod on top.

I agree with Shade, but make sure the third pod is really low and close to the hull plating. But really, the only thing I dislike about it is the fact that it's really fat.

Pod: I'm not sure whether that would show up well on the sprite, it's pixelly and messy enough as is... gosh, I'm looking forward to Nova's graphics. Which will be released somewhere in this millennium if we're lucky...

cool. this is what Ive been wanting, an Emalgha fighter Bay. you made it very well. you kept up the Emalgha tradition of having very poorly desined ships(as bad as my spelling).

I think You should add soem Emalgha Cannons to the Tips of the outer pods , Make sure they are to scale other wise it wouldn't work...

Very nice for Emalgha. Ugly, it should be. A little too smooth, though, and the texture doesn't seem quite right.
Note - the Emalgha Warship is actually a very powerful vessel against Voinians. In most Emalgha missions, they can actually take care of themselves. The carrier should be stronger than a frigate.

SilverDragon: The texture is the exact same as was used for the original Emalgha ships. I guess the large shape of the main hull is stretching the pattern too much, though. I'll try to change that. Though it's not as if you'd notice on the pixelled mini-sprites of EVO...
As for being able to kick a Frigate's ass: I currently have 3 fighters per bay, I could imagine adding more if that helps. I don't want to disbalance the game by making it too good, though.
BTW, the Emalgha Carrier is now available in the beta version Advance 1.2... see my sig for the link.
