I managed to get past the Sri-Laak without the guns screwing up, but after that, the turrets AND guns would just not fire on and off. I'd heard the sound, but not see any lasers or Ions. Nor did I see the enemy's shields go down. I'd like to know how I can get this alleged 'fix'.....

Sorry guys. I haven't gotten around to get the file segmented and uploaded. I have had a lot of school work to do, since I have an English and a World HIstory report due in the next week or two. I have been tinkering with the idea of adding some stuff in it so you guys don't kill me for it just being a major bug fix. Never fear, though. Matrix is not the only one to be making a Star Wars plugin for EV3.

When you release it make sure its compatible with that extra ships plug that I finally made work. One thing I don't like about that extra ships (but hes making another version so maybe it will be fixed hes said that will include the Eclipse class and World Devastator) is that the TIE Advanced and Defender are available everywhere and the Advanced seems way to powerful for its price. I am glad he made that plug though becuase some of those ships were available in some of the earlier versions of SW for the origanal EV (I remember being able to buy Death Star frames for 0 dollars they were slow but when you had a mission to destroy anything they ruled).

Both, probably. I expect it was first compressed into a stuffit "sit" archive, and then converted into a MacBinary "bin" file.
Stuffit Expander needs a library from the DropStuff install to handle some of those files. If you can't find a version of DropStuff that matches your Stuffit Expander, just download the latest Stuffit Lite (which is just Stuffit Expander, DropStuff, DropZip, and DropTar bundled together): (url="http://"http://www.stuffit.com/expander/download.html")http://www.stuffit.c...r/download.html(/url)
If that can't extract it, the file probably got corrupted when it was downloaded and you'll need to try downloading it again.
Ooryl is again correct (surprise surprise!). You should come around here more often, R10, it can be pretty fun!

I can get a shot or two to fire if I continually spin, but it's making me dizzy!
Sorry. Even with all the help I have been receiving from anxious SW's and EV/O Fans, I haven't uploaded it. I should, seeing as how there isn't that much good stuff coming out on the Add-ons pages recently. If you guys really want me to, I will make a few more attempts to get it uploaded. However, I am trying to get a little more work done on SWN. Anyone know how to render graphics?
I've had problems with the Star Wars plug for a while now, but I finally figured out how to fix it to my satisfaction, so I will share with you how I did it in case any of you wish to follow suit.
I opened each of the separate plug-in files with Res-Edit and pasted every resource into the largest plug. If you open the resource on the receiving plug, then copy the entire resource from another, then the whole resource in the other plug is added to the receiving plug instead of over-writing it. For example, if everything is going into SW20 1.0 (the largest file), open it in Res-Edit and open any resource so that you may view it as a list. Now when you open any of the other plugs, do NOT open the individual resources. Copy them whole and just paste into the open resource of SW20 1.0 (be sure to paste only the appropriate whole resources into the open SW20 resources).
Some of the plugs have information that overlaps that in other plugs, but rather than go through and pick-and-choose (too time consuming), open and copy resources in a particular order with the prioritized plugs LAST. That way the version you wish to keep overwrites junk you do not want. For example, I like to cheat, so I opened and copied-and-pasted those into SW20 1.0 last. Now I have just one file to place into my plug-ins folder and the process only took me about 15 minutes at the most (I also copied Star Wars sounds into MAGMA so Star Wars sounds with the same IDs would overwrite those MAGMA sounds, then copied the entire sound resource from MAGMA back into Star Wars).
Half the fun of playing EVO is hacking plugs and playing God with them. Heh, heh, heh.
