Sup all, I was wandering how to have a raised karma? Do you have to be spotted or something along those lines, I have looked at the FAQ and it doesn't help.

It basically at the moderators' discretion when to alter karma.

If you are a good, cooperative, kind member your karma can get raised. If you're unkind, spamming, or being a pest than your karma is lowered.
Don't expect karma for one little thing like answering a question, Some people are lucky and the mods give them points rapidly and their kamra gets high fast. That's not how it normally happened. Some times you don't get kamra for over a year

Karma is a measure of a person's standing on the web boards; 0 is neutral, negative is bad, positive is good. Everyone starts with neutral (0) Karma. Moderators can warn (lower karma) or praise (raise karma) people based on their posts. If your Karma has been affected by a moderator, you will be eMailed the details of why your Karma was affected, and by whom. If Karma becomes too negative (-10 or worse), that person is banned from the web boards until a moderator raises their Karma.
If you follow the these web board guidelines, you will not have a problem with your Karma.
In short, you get karma for being helpful, posting something particularly funny or insightful, or keeping your cool and being a voice of reason when things get out of hand. Don't worry about it too much, though, as long as you avoid -10, karma isn't really that big of a deal.
