I'm currently playing Reign of the UE (v1.2), and I'm on the following mission: Operation Backyard (Resumed)
It's the one where you destroy the Voinian InvinciNought, and then take over Riden Station.
Well, the strangest thing is happening; when the 'nought is destroyed, or so I think, it just..dissapears. I can still select it (I guess that finishing kill never quite makes it), but the damn thing is GONE. I can't finish the mission, as a result.
Anyone have an idea what's going on? It's not a conflicting plug, or something; only ROTUE is in there.
Regards, Greg

Is it cloaking? Or just abruptly disappears?

Can NPC ships really cloak?
-Greg-
It's a mistake that only recently I have fpound the problem. The thing is, when I was designing the InvinciNought I forgot to give it Mass. Therefore, the mass is 0. Now, an EV/O how much mass your ship has determines how much it will "bounce" after a hit by, say, a projectile, such as a missile, or perhaps a beam. For example, if you fire a rocket at a fighter and the rocket hits the fighter, the ship will "recoil" more than would, say a warship. The smaller (less mass) the ship. the larger the recoil. the problem is, since the InvinciNought (due to my neglicgence) has a mass of 0, then its recoil rate is infinite. I might make a small "bug fix" and put it on the Add-ons section sometime.
God bless,
