What are some good plugins for the EVO graphics? I remember I once downloaded a plugin that made my ship info color 3D and another that made the buttons 3D. Where are these plugins and where are others like them?

That was probably EVula's 3D Targets, or another 3D target plugin (there were two, but the other one's targets didn't fit the game as well). I don't know the name of the other one, as it is (of the two) the one that isn't in my Plugins folder at this moment. You can get it from EVula's website. If you don't know what the URL is, you haven't been around very long.
As for an EVO version, I asked him a couple weeks back about it. He said that he was going to be releasing it soon, but that doesn't mean that it wil be out soon.

I remember that plugin, but I can't remember the name right now. I think it was called "3D Buttons", or something else along those lines. I don't think an EVO version was released, but all you have to do is change the creator code in ResEdit and it should work fine.

EVO MAGMA is considered by some to be quite pretty. (Myself being one of those in favor.) It adds a "3-D" look and feel to everything.

Actually, there have been a great deal more than two plug-ins that have performed that function, and they go back a ~long~ way.

Indeed there were, but those were the only two that I remember off the top of my head. I used the unnamed one until EVula released his own (as well as Black Panel), when I threw away the old one.
I didn't mean for it to seem like I was saying there were only two, which in retrospect, is indeed what it seemed like I was saying. "My bad".
Do you happen to have those "other" plug-ins (or point me in the direction of their websites/Addon location)? I'd just like to see what they are like.

I no longer have any of these plug-ins beyond the ones I made myself (including two slightly more unique ones I'll be releasing fairly soon...). As for where you might find them, they might still be in the add-ons directory, although many of them came out back when escape-velocity.com was still a separately maintained site from AmbrosiaSW.com.

I found what I was looking for, specifically the EVTGOverride1 which adds 3D color targets.

Are there any that improve the grapics of the ships?

EVO MAGMA modifies the graphics, giving everything (ships, missiles, etc...) an "oblique" view. If you do not mind not having the "top-down" graphics, this plug-in is highly recommended.
