Is there any way I can play for this Government? If I can, where do I get the first mission and if I can't, are there any plugins or anything that allow me to play for them? If there are plugins for the Council missions, what are some good ones? Thanks...
- P.P.
There are no missions for the Council in the standard scenario, as it was created as a jumping-off point for plugin designers. Numerous plugin designers have taken the challenge, although the only one I can think of offhand that had any merit to it was Beyond the Crescent.

Beyond the Cresent was quite good-it reminded me of Stargate(My favourite SciFi program!)

Y'know... you could make your own little/minor adjustments to EVO and make your own missions for The Council...

Ships is easy. Maps are easy. Missions are the hardest part of plug-in making, especially with screwy EV-Edit.

You mean especially with screwy EV-Edit AND EVO's separate data files MAN that's annoying. I think I might try this 'beyond the cresent' one. I'd still like one that unites the strands (apologies if this one does :)).

Take heart, a new mission editor will become available to you sooner rather than later, which does not behave like EV-Edit and deals with the separate data files of EV Override.

Yay! Yay yay yay!
/me starts jumping up and down on top of Martin Turner screaming "I'll beat Frozen Heart! I will!"
<cough> Pardon that.
/me gets out his countless pages of EVO writings.
But I WILL make a plug-in..
Espy
Oi! You! No! You do not jump up and down on top of Martin Turner!
Belay that order! Keep jumping until he fixes the bugs in Frozen Heart and uploads a newer version! In fact, I'll join you!
speaking of Martin turner and the unbeatability of Frozen heart...
Do any of you have some saved Frozen Heart games you'd be willing to share? My computer is way to buggy for me to get further than where you get the first code for the docs. I just need to feel that tachyonic fighter...
PS: i know i should make a new topic for this, but i probably wont
