Emm....Espona, I'll fill you in. Don't try and confuse yourself - and remember, EVERY government is different.
The Raiek only have a very very vague tech outline. That is, they have an incredible enough particle beam weapon. Raiek armadas have been known to incinerate planets by barraging it with concentrated beam fire for several hours.
These beams are seriously out-strengthed, so the Raiek have weaknesses to counter it. That's up to you, Red, but don't make any techs up until we talk on AIM first.
Someone asked why I didn't have ICQ. Well, I DO have ICQ, I just never figured out how to use it.

Some more random Skraine info; When hailing someone other than a family member,Skraine will always keep the viewscreen blacked out. This is traditional;it represents the attitude "I'm not telling you who I am because you're so big and strong I'm afraid you'll hunt me down and kill me if you know my identity." In reverse,anyone who requests a Skraine open viewscreens is being exceedingly rude,because it's like saying "I'm so powerful I don't need to hide my identity." Which,to a Skraine,is identical to being arrogant. Of course it's largely defunct,but the tradition itself remains.
