Reign of Chaos Bar

Xanth... is fun. I laughed so hard at those books one time I started coughing. I had to wait a few minutes before I could continue to read that. Those books have so many puns. And Tolkien... I read his books once. I plan to read them again soon. Probably after I'm done reading the Dune series for the second time.

The setting itself is a pun. Pie rs Anth ony. Pronounce slowly. Most of the stories are based around puns.

I'd read Tolkien again, preferably before watching the movies. (coming out Christmas 2001, 2002, 2003) You'll understand them better.

I would definitely have to agree with Rima, Piers Anthony is hilarious in his Xanth novels. I loved 'em (esp Yon Ill Wind ), as well as his Killobyte , which was also interesting. But nothing compares to Xanth. Interesting, draco, I'd never noticed the connection between his name and the world's name. Very cool! πŸ˜„

You have been reading haven't you...well, if you are joining, it's a good thing that you're up to date. πŸ˜„

Red, he's right: Silverstone was definitely destroyed by something, possibly the shockwave missiles (I'm not entirely sure what Esponer's post meant ;)). Besides, I don't think you ever armed Silverstone.

Esponer, what ships do the Prylak have that you haven't told us about? I don't like this talk about "battleships" and "dreadnoughts", not to mention a "Starfortress." That one sounds particularly evil. πŸ™‚

============

A massive battle ensues between the Prylak Starfortress and Phyrexia.

Esponer, if the starfortress would just kick the crap out of my BASE ship, tell me and I rescind the previous sentence. πŸ˜„

Asriel,asccording to Carnotaur's post,there are only a half dozen Prylak capitol ships,probably Starfortresses,left.
They are 50 lights away from the edge of known space.
But I think that the combined forces of the United Federation Alliance, the Tribunal, the Galactica, the Sijak, the Raiek, and my Skraine, ought to be able to kill them.
Oh yeah, and my Senn allies,if I can contact them.

Sssh...okay. I was wrong, Carnotaur's post isn't about those type of ships. Those Prylak ships are different, from another galaxy.

Starfortress >>> Terran Navy + their base ship, so yes, don't fight it, Asriel. πŸ˜‰

But the Terrans only have 1 planet,Terra,in the New Sol system!
How can they build BASE ships?

Shade, im proud of you for reading up on RoC II, but just few points I think you were left out of.

the Q'an, I'ase, and Prylak have massive governments outside of the milky way. I'ase, I could be wrong, but the Qan has tens of thousands, and the Prylak millions of ships out of the milky way.

RoC III takes place (in my closest estimate) at least 50 years after RoC III. Also in RoC III I will have a ship named after the silverstone, that is a ship carved out of asteroids that doesn't need a shipyard to build.

Let's see, read all the Dune series, the 4 Tolkien books, and 2 of a Piers Anthony trilogy. The trilogy was about a planet with an alternate fantasy universe, and because the sci-fi one was exporting an element and the fantasy universe wasn't, they were becoming uneven and were about to merge with terrible consequences. The main character was named Stile, maybe someone can think of the title of it, I can't.
Anybody like Asimov or Pohl?

Civilization III is coming out TOMMORROW!

Yes,now you mention it,I remember you "dreaming" about it in RoC II.
But I would suggest not calling it the Sliverstone.
Call it Thistledown.

20 years, actually. And...err... Q'an have about 5000 ships, Prylak 500,000 (that is with the scale down, though, so I guess you're not far off) With scaledown, Galactica have the most with 2500.

And...erm...Red...I'm not gonna bring the Q'an Empire in, anymore. <gulps> Or if I do, they'll be locked in combat with a slightly better Prylak force. πŸ˜‰

ph33r the Starfortresses.

Jess agrees with corey. Come on people, how sad are we? We're either talking about books or RoC. Jess and corey shoot everyone in an attempt to inject some life into the place.

Hah! You want a brawl? You got a brawl!

Azdara shoots Jess in the heart and watches as she slowly dies. He then shoots corey in both his kneecaps and stamps on the wound. Azdara then proceeds to grab the salt shaker from a nearby table and pour it on corey's knees.

Hmm...not quite, Red. The I'ase's original galaxy has virtually no I'ase left, as most went with the Nedra when it was built. For all intents and purposes, the I'ase are dead. <smiles>
