Haven't been abled to track down a question or answer on this one, so here goes:
I've destroyed the Voinian dreadnought but when I return to Port Alpha nothing happens - mission appears uncompleted . Similar problem with destroying the Voinian task force.
When I arrived in the Vorik system, on the specific mission to destroy the dreadnought, I must admit I ended up "dominating" the planet before the dreadnought appeared. No dreadnought made me think that perhaps I had entice it out as part of the Voinian defence fleet. The dreadnought appeared after I'd "dominated" the planet. Was this a big mistake?
Unfortunately, no, I didn't back-up my pilot before going on the dreadnought mission
Any clues (or, better, very obvious hints) greatly appreciated.

Very obvious hint: Maybe you shouldn't have dominated the planet?
You could try aborting the mission and doing it again...

The above post can be concidered "Parlez vous sans mon derreire" As the french probably wouldn't say.
Just be careful when you abort the missions because the UE's will hate you I think.

Thanks.
Had a feeling I'd been a little too proacvtive. Think I'll make a few back-ups and see what happens.
Either that or I'll start again. Beats meeting my commissioning editor's first deadline.

If you do abort the mission you will become a criminal throught UE space. I suggest going back and release the planet from your capture then see what happens from there.
good luck
