The Zachit protect the Miranu not out of patriotism, but because they're paid to. I think a large portion of them are Strandless who wanted to stay in the space forces but didn't want to become renegades.

Um, highly doubtful, because the Miranu dont fight. And Even though the Zacha DO have numerous races, it is highly possible that there were no Voinians in the Zacha.

If the Miranu don't fight, then tell me, why did they develop a vessel known as the "Miranu Gunship?" I most certainly know for sure that the Gunship is intended for warfare.

Same here. I've just always thought of them as primarily Miranu, but that's just my opinion.

The Miranu built the gunship for the use of the Zachit, who are described as a Miranu-funded militia, because they felt that the standard Crescent vessels in use by the Zachit were not sufficient.

Perhaps so, but I do still believe that a "Miranu Gunship" is commanded by a crew of Miranu. Just seems logical... Otherwise, I don't see why it'd be called "Miranu" in the first place.

It's called Miranu because, like the Courier, Freighter, and Heavy Freighter, it is Miranu-built. That doesn't mean it's crewed by Miranu - after all, humans and the Crescent race are both allowed to fly Miranu cargo vessels.
Either way, I think we can safely say that the story of When the Voinians Came is over. However, I'm all for another story continuing on from here- Maybe "After the Voinians"?

If one were to look closely, they could see a burned body in the cockpit. If one had looked even closer, they would have been able to barely make out the ID badge: "HDF; Starkiller".
