AHHHHH! Help! I have a problem: In EV-Edit, how do you make it so that you can connect new systems to existing ones?

Do NOT use EV Edit. It is notorius for corrupting files. Res-Edit, while obviously not as intuitive, is a better choice, and it actually isn't difficult.
By the way, there is a developer's board - you are sure to have more luck with this sort of thing there.

Oh yeah. DUHHHH! smacks forehead
If you insist on using EV-Edit, try the help files that come with it. Sorry, I retired my copy so long ago I've forgotten how to link to existing systems, but there is a simple way.
A better solution is EVO Developers Map, a relible visual map editor, easier to use than ResEdit in that you can see where you are putting systems and spobs as you place them.It is available here: (url="http://"http://members01.chello.se/warlordpontus/ev/index.html")http://members01.che...s/ev/index.html(/url)
