Ok people, what's the strangest "Special" ship you've come across? The weirdest I've seen is probably an ASS ship (can't remember which) that attacked with a Plasma Siphon! As these are developed by the Izdagra that's more than a little strange...

Hmm... I'd have to say përs ship "Disco Bison." He has SAEs, and the absolutely lethal "Disco Bison Machine-Gun."

I saw a Hinwar "Captured Frigate" when I was working for the Voinians once - the only way you could find out about them if you were... he had a few things to say, which I can't remember.
The A.S.S. with Plasma Siphon is not so odd, I mean think of them as just another player like us - working for the Igadzra they captured an Azdgari Warship.. or maybe they had the Triple Agent plug :).
or maybe they worked for the igadzra and captured the aggy warship. oh and I came across an igadzra that shot strange green beams...

There's on pirate Arada you DO NOT want to mess with. I forget the përs name but he has a beam weapon you don't want to get in the way of. If you think the Disco Machine Gun is bad you haven't run into this guy.

Disco Bison is pretty nasty. I've managed to destroy him before (without cheats), but only by doing my best to avoid his nasty machine gun.

I came across a normal(no special name) helian, but it had 4 crescent phase weapons(the yellow lasers), and then i saw a arada with at least 5 emalga cannons. it almost kiled my idgazar warship!

I've never seen such a Helian. I'll have to keep my eyes open for him.
I have, however, seen aradas with afterburners, armed to the teeth with emalgha cannons and SAE modules. Man, those are nasty, especially when you are attacked by two at a time. I was able to get them both in my Azdara, though. Took awhile...

Is it an Igazra beam (thin, green) or a Ziggy beam (thick, yellow)? I've seen a pers Igazra with a tractor beam and neutron turrets, but I haven't seen any of them actually use the Iggy Beam.

The weirdest ship...I've actually never seen the Disco Bison guy, except when I'm jumping out of system,where I sob can't see him. Once saw the UES Incontrontroverbalglatahlf (Yeah, I can't spell it) during the dreadnaught mission- which isn't so weird, except the UE fleet actually beat it! All me and my lowly UE Destroyer had to do was sit there, laughing.

Once, before I knew what a mistake it was, I attacked the UES Incontrivertible (sp?). When it started launching fighters and walloping my frigate with it's 4 (i think) rocket launchers, my poor hulking Voinian ship barely made it out of the system at 3% armour, less than 1 minute after takeoff. OW

Yep, I've found him before (thankfully, only once). He seems to have about four Phased Beams (could be turreted, as Cazic said; I didn't notice). The Disco Bison, at least, is easy to get away from if you do attack him. I've destroyed him once before, though.

Finally bothered to check the Furious and Fiery's specs. One Phased Beam Turret, four phase cannons, two pursuit missile launchers, and twelve pursuit missiles.
That beam turret is nasty.

I've ran into that guy several times, and never managed to beat him until I attacked him in my Igazra along with six Crescent Warship escorts. I lost two of the Warships and Crescent Fighters carried by my escorts, but we managed to finish him off.

Saw him again, scrolling through the target list as I.....jumped out of system again. Argh! I swear, I'm going to get him!
I saw the disco bision in the sol system once i had just get back to earth in my shiny escape pod and with my new shuttle I saw some money coming I mean how hard can it be to kill an emalgha ship... oops i died in one millisecond and that was the last time I saw the discobision for a while and that time i stayed away

Pop open the data files in ResEdit along with the ResEdit templates for EVO. Both can be found in the add-ons section.
