shayborg & Blackdog - Whoops, my bad. I was recalling from 1.0.0. Now I remember: with the decreased reload time in 1.0.2, Neutron cannons & turrets now fire fast enough that a single one does more damage/second to shielding than a phase turret (or pair of phase cannons).
I'm with you on the UE Cruiser, shayborg. But if I found myself in one, the first things I would get are the maneuverability upgrades, an afterburner, and a map to find my way into the Crescent to buy a new ship.
