The phased disruption beam

Hi, I'm the sickeningly proud owner of a Crescent Warship and I've recently passed the Zidagar missions and been given access to their gadgets and ships. I've bought their ECM system and sold some of my own outfits (bay etc) so I have about 75 tonnes mass free but for some reason when I select the 'phased disruption beam' it says "Can't have any of this item!"! I've got the cash for it - anybody got any idea what's goin on? I think I'm gonna breakdown...

You have to have a Zidde ship. But since it's already equipped with it, it doesn't really matter

Also, if you do purchase a Zidara, I warn you Don't sell the turrets! There is a bug in wich it says it has I think four turret slots. It has three phase turrets equipped and 2 Phase Beams. Since the Phase Beams count as a gun, and a gun takes both a turret and a gun spot, if you sell a turret, you will not get to buy another one. This is because the four slots have been filled up (2 turrets and 2 phase beams = 4 turret slots). It's only in there in the first place because they didn't think of it. And since you can't sell Phase Beams, you will be doomed with two turrets even though you have a max of 4 turret slots. You can easily fix this if you are good with ResEdit or at least know of it and can use to add two extra turret slots to the Zidara.

You don't have to have a Zidara to get the Phased Beam - but you do have to have 1 open turret slot for each one you buy.
