I have found the Fighers Guild and the Mages Guild, but i can't find a Ranger's Guild for the life of me, where is it?

You'll find it in the southwest continent near the North Gidolan entrance as I recall. Its a secret area in the woods - not the one with the waterfall amd magic mushroom, but the one a little further south. Bring LOTS of gold because there is some really cool ranger only weapons and armor for sale.

How do you use the earth mole ranger ability? I tried to wield the shovel and press "x", but that just swung it like a weapon. Is there an associated potion that you have to make with it that I missed?

cast ability as shovel is equiped.

I don't think the shovel even needs to be equiped. Infact I have used 'Earth Mole' many times with out having the shovel equiped.

Two things It can be, First you need a shovel in your inventory. Second, The earth mole skill is a level 2 skill, theres a arrow at the top of the skill book to flip through the levels you have learned. you should have it.
you don't need any thing to cast stuff. I can cast any thing without having what I "need".

in my meager travels I came across a little shooting range booth does anyone know where it is?, I can't find it HELP!
The shooting range is just west of the barricade and General Septemus' place. It's on the same screen as Mongo's termite farm.
