I perfer my azdara "Galinia" using a cheat plug-in to get a azdara bay on it with 3 fighters, so I have a nice little squadren.

I pondered this once, trying to identify a 'dream team' of captured escorts. Some ships work better as escorts than as your own ship, because then they don't revert to stock outfits as soon as you visit an outfitter. Perhaps you could find yourself cruising the galaxy with two Voinian dreadnoughts, a beam-equipped Igazra, the Disco Bison... whatever.
If we ever get the Search facility back, look for a thread called 'Exotic Escorts'.

Get the fleets of doom plug-in, I have a dreadnought before I got the plug-in,but with fleets of doom,I would say the ideal fleet is 4 dreadnoughts and 2UE cruisers.If you are interested in conquering the galaxy, get ships with lots of fighters.Eventually you will crowd out the system and have only your ships in it.Then demand tribute again and you own the planet/station.

6 Igazras if you're planning to destroy things. 18 SAE Modules and (I think) 30 phase turrets will even destroy a Voinian fleet in seconds.
6 Azdari Warships if you're planning on taking over the galaxy, giving the 36 Azdaras they could dish out, only a trickle of defenders will be able to get out.

My Infested Azdgari Warship (I modified the graphics so it looks like there's a big space blob on it) I've been shot at by 8 Igazras without even seeing my shields go down one bit, and it has a Nuke Launcher, which basically destroys everything on the screen (talk about cheating) I think I might be able to take on one of your armies with a few Infested Azdgari Warships.

Last time I played Override (which was about four months ago), I had a Voinian Cruiser, and a fleet of two Voinian Cruisers, three frigates, and a Crescent Warship.

Actually, because it's a përs rather than a shďp, the Disco Bison would lose its special weapons. Anyway, I'd say the most effective fleet of exotic escorts would be made of enhanced Aradas and Azdaras.

Although I love to use the Azdara as my own ship, I won't use them as escorts. If anything more then a Lazira attacks you, then you will usually lose atleast a few Azdaras...Enhanced Aradas make reliable escorts, though...
A little tip to get the largest fleet possible, without using plugs or cheats. Before selling a ship, get rid of all the weapons, hire six escorts that you want, and buy as many fighter bays as possible, then fill them all completely full. I did this with a UE Cruiser seven times in a row. Then, launch all the fighters, and land on a planet. Buy a copy of your ship, and repeat with the fighter launching. The fighters you launch before you buy a ship stay with you as escorts, and you can keep doing this again and again. With this, I went into battle with 30 UE fighters, 30 Upgraded Crescent fighters, and 30 Normal Crescent Fighters I beleive was the count, plus a captured Igazra or whatever that big orange ship is, and five hired gun Crescent Warships. That was my dream fleet.

My ideal fleet consists of my Igazra, 2 Igazra Escorts, and 4 Aggy Warships. Sometimes I mix in 2 Crescent Warships and take out 2 of the Aggy Warships. I think with all those together you get an excellent balance of power. 6 Aggy Warships is very good too, but very hard to capture, especially in a ship with a small crew like the Igazra.

My Azdara and three Azdara fighters in the squadren count as millions of ships?
My ideal fleet would include two Voinian Cruisers, two UE Cruisers and two Adzari Warships.
