The renegade fleet leapt into the Qerin system, finding no resistance. Confused, they turned on the planet, quickly bearing down on it.
Renegade fighters were sent out towards the planet quickly, and several seconds too late the warships detected the Zidagar presence. The Zidagar fleet charged forward, causing devastation to the renegade ranks, standing brave and firm against the odds.
Then, the fighters turned back to aid their motherships, but the planetary defences opened fire. The fighters were caught in the heavy fire, and only a few moved out, the rest beginning the bombard the planet's defences.
Then, the 20 rigged Zidaras leapt forward from the ranks of the Zidagar fleet, with Zidagar fighters weaving between them, taking fire for them, and then the Zidaras exploded, wreaking havoc among the renegade fleet, decreasing warship numbers among the enemies by nearly 20%.
The Zidagar captains leapt with joy, but much of the battle was still to be done....

OOC: One problem with that Esponer, My cruisers are armed with the Triton laser, wthey have enough fire power to destroy any ship in the galaxy with one blast, but they take awhile to recharge. So alot of your ships got destroyed in the first blast. Plus, those rigged Zidara's some of them would have been destroyed as they came closer to my fleet, because GF cruisers have alot of firepower, I'll make it that you destroyed 10% of my warships, and one more thing, My government is called the Galatic Federation not the renagades.
IC: Titan: Commander do we have enough energy to fire the Triton laser? Commander: No, sir, they'll be ready in 15 minutes. The fleet closes with the Zidagar, they open a barrrage of missles and phase fire, inflicting heavy losses on the Zidagar.

The Renagades and Zidagar are still duking it out in Querid, when a CA fleet hypers in.
"Red group, you go to the right of the Renagades, stop them from getting to the station." The CA commander ordered. "Blue group, you go to the left of the Renagades, cut off their escape route. Green group, on my command, head right into the midsts of the Renagades fleet. Let's show them a thing or two!"
The CA fleet split up. The Renagades tried to get to the station but were blocked off by CA warships. Then they tried to pull back, but were again blocked off by more CA warships.
"Ok," The commander said over the comm. "Engage!"
Green group started their engines, and headed straight for the enemy fleet. Then the rest of the CA fleet headed towords them also. And the CA "imploded" on the Renagade fleet. The Renagades fought back desprately, but to no avail. The rest of the Renagade ships were destroyed.
Then the Zidagar haild the CA fleet. "What? Why? I thought we were enemys?!" "Not anymore," the CA Commander replied. "I have brought a message from our leader, and he whishes to make an alliance with you." Esponer was amazed. The Crescent Alliance wanted an Alliance with the Zidagar.
He wondered about it. It would certainly be beneficial, but it didn't make any sense. Esponer assumed that Nova was taking Esponer's little experience of command to mean that Esponer was stupid.

Amethyst Fate, a fleet of 12 Zidaras, full fighter compliments, with 20 Zidagar Fighter escorts, known as the imfamous 'Melodrama Serenaders', a highly-skilled fleet with upgraded ships, only to find the battle over. They pick up the transmissions between Nova6 and Esponer, and ESPilot says "Get the Amethyst Fate down to the docking bay. Leave the rest of the fleet up here. Leave the Serenaders up here to patrol. I want to confer with Commander Esponer about this alliance proposal." The officer replies "Yes sir Captain." and the Z.S.S. Amethyst Fate is piloted into the Qerid spaceport. ESPilot heads for the main base, where he goes to see Esponer. ESPilot says "Commander, I'd like to discuss this new alliance the CA is making. I know the Azdgari aren't usually the kind of people to trust, but I believe there may be mutual benifit from an alliance." he waits for Esponer's reply.....

You were ournumbered, outguned, outteched, there was now way you would of won. But, If you tell me what you would of done, I can better determain if you would of won. NOTE: From now on if anyone yells at me for something like this, I will not listen.
Its doesn't matter if I could not have one, you didn't give me time to react, and you just hade your fleet arrive in the system in one post, if you continue to act like this I will resign from the story.

sigh First I put that rule in to keep the story fair. Then I take it out because it's to complicated and no one reacts. Then I put it in again because the story slowed down a bit. Now I'm gonna have to take it out again because it's too hard to capture a system! sigh Ok, here's how it goes: When someone attacks, and the person who they are attacking doesn't react in his next post (or if he doesn't reply for 3 days), the system is captured.

The barrel full of, um, "stuff" has been removed from the water-cooler room and placed in a high-security vault, meanwhile, the room was irradiated to remove any contamination and all the water-dispenser refills destroyed.
The dispersal rockets have also been placed in the vault.
