I've been browsing the board and I've seen several references to a Techno Plugin. I've never heard of this plugin before now and I'm wondering what it does and where I can get it.

I believe it was included with the original POG release - at least it was in the version i got on a MacAddict CD. It doesn't really do anything except let you look at a different environment created with Coldstone.

It may be the thing that caused my copy not to work. But who knows
------------------ Oh, you fools! Are you to ignorant to see the pattern? Your whole history makes sense only by positing the four most far-fetched twistings and contradiction to human nature! Could any race be so suicidal and have survived so long? From the Merrimac to Skylab in one century? The pace of progress yanks you ahead faster than you can run. Do you not notice!?
It is availible from the PoG dowloads page, it's called sample.pog.plugin or something like that.

I don't know about MacAddict, but it wasn't included on the CD of "MacFormat", which is a British magazine and is where I got my copy of PoG.
As someone else already said though, it's available on the downloads page.
It's not really worth downloading, as it adds nothing to the game but a tantalising peek into what to expect once the Coldstone Engine has been released and we see the first few plug-ins coming our way...
Oh yeah, and it's useful for when you need to get away from a load of monsters.

The Techno plug-in can be very helpful when used creatively. Check out some of the earlier postings if need some suggestions.
