------------------ Whee!
Ok, so if I got this right, its a sequal to EV which takes place distantly in the future from EV on EVO. It sounds really cool.

So is this really going to happen or is it another one of those bull**** plug announcements that pops up oh...once every three days?

Good God, do you ever have anything useful to say?

Well, if you look back months and months I did, but I feel my posts are a reflection of those threads they become a part of. And for the most part you've said everything I've ever needed to say.

------------------ I AM AN X-MAN...wait, that doesn't sound quite right...
I appreciate Tripps' point of view. There's been an awful lot of vaporware announced on this board during the last year or so. If we were to compare the number of extant TCs with the number of different TCs which have announced, recruited, set up websites etc... well, it's no wonder that some of us are content to say we'll believe it when we see it.
Remember, also, that a great deal of thought and work went into the creation of the EV:O culture. That's why we are able to have debates about which is the best warship, the best weapon or the best strand. Because they're all good! Creating a viable TC isn't about producing a mass of sprites and masks, pulling together text descriptions and commodities lists for stellars... it's about rigorous testing and other aspects of quality control. Total quality is not something that can be achieved; it's only something that you can continually approach. That's a substantial task which it is hard to measure the progress of, and if you haven't factored it into your planned release date, people are in for a disappointment.

I'm working on a plug (sort of) and because of all the vaporware I haven't said anything about it, in case I get bored and start doing some real work.
