OK. Now I can complete the Nox Avernum mission since the mission now allows for four days to make the jump (why all of a sudden it changed from 3 to 4 days I have no idea). BUT---now it lists an error message upon landing at Parasoja Station even though the mission was successfully completed. Weird. If Mr. Turner is out there - do I need to reinstall EVO? Can I save my pilot file while doing so? I need some help here people.

Probably obvious advice --
Try allocating more memory to the game before running it. I was midway through Frozen Heart when it started freezing and crashing. I bumped it up to 36K or so, and it worked fine. From the finder, click once on the game icon, press Apple-i, and type in the new setting. Hope this helps.
What error message is it listing?

Hi Martin:
The earlier post seems to have solved the problem. Even though I have a G3/400 machine and 128 MG Ram, once I boosted the memory allocation from 36,000 to 75,000 (I had it to spare so why not) the mission was completed. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Now if only I could find out where the Red Cross visits to find clues about the next two ships in the open missions...or where I can find an IMP Launcher...or how I can...oh, never mind....I'll just have to keep playing I guess.
Thanks for the response.
