ESPilot watches Nova6 exit, and fingers the handle of his phased disruption rifle exitedly, signaling for the other captains to inform their ships' crews of this turn of events, and ESPilot heads out to do also.
After a while, his ships blast off for Hizdriar, where ESPilot is making plans for what possibly lies ahead.
:Several Days later:
ESPilot's fleet touches down on Hizdriar and ESPilot immediately heads for the engineering lab of BlackMarket Inc., where he gives a pair Emalgha and a Strandless engineers a blueprint, and goes to the port.
NEW PROJECT: Type: Cannon/Turret Name: BlackMarket Outfits Inc. Energy/Mass (E/m) turret/cannon Fires small cooled uranium slugs, coated with a thick layer powerful phase energy, doing heavy damage to both armor and shields, at least 1.7 more than a neutron turret. Can be purchased in a cannon or turret version.
------------------ Recently started playing ROTUE, haven't got too far, haven't seen any new ships.
The waiting had been than Crusader could bear. He'd known he could not move against this enemy hastily. Their ships were too well protected for that, and the Gunship fleet alone would not have been enough. But despite the logic of biding his time, Crusader couldn't help but feel rotten about it. While he waited for the Zacha to mass their strength, even more of southern Miranu space had fallen. If they didn't move soon, there would be nothing to protect.
Word had come that the forces at North Tip Station had been driven back. More than half the fleet was destroyed, the rest of which limped back to Hizdriar with Thunder. At least we won't have to worry about Renegades coming from there now. Besides, the renegades weren't the true threat anymore, were they?
But now, at long last all was in order. The first mighty fleet was gathered. 10 CW's had arrived, along with a huge number of Zacha Aradas and fighters. More would be coming, as shipyards all over the North Tip were churning out vessels as fast as they were capable. Many of these would be piloted by Zacha; others by volunteers or recurits who refused to stand by and watch the dreadful events unfold.
They could wait no longer. They had to strike, now. The second wave would just have to catch up at a later time.
"Zacha Crusader," someone said. Crusader looked up to see Zacha Jos Delbar there. A long-time vetern and a good fighter, although rumored to be a tad crazy at times.
"Yes, what is it?"
"We've had a new arrival. A pilot by the name of ESpilot....he thought through a Voinian raiding fleet to get here, and wishes to aid us in our struggle."
Crusader nodded. "Very well, make him an honorary Zacha member until this is over. We need the help we can get."
"Yes, of course.....sir, may I ask you--"
Crusader cut him off. "I know. You want to know how I knew enough about the enemy to plot their defeat."
"To be blunt, sir....yes."
Crusader sighed. "My friend, it is no secret that I am of a race different from what is usually seen here, in the Crescent. These Voinians....I knew them, once. And I knew them because my people were enlocked in a struggle against them. I am a member of the human race."
Delbar gasped. "You? An actual human? But how--I mean, we've heard of them, but none of them have come up here before."
Crusader nodded. "All those years ago, I was a different person. My government--the United Earth--had been at war with them for years. It was a life and death struggle--the battle frontier was a stone's throw away from our homeworld. But I didn't care about any of that. I was a mercenary pilot, one of the best. But I was a mercenary without a soul. One day the Voinains approached me with the intent of hiring my parmanent services, offering a payment more than I could have ever dreamed of. But the money I took was blood money. At first I did what they asked. I defected, I roamed among them. As I earned their trust, I was commanded to lead entire warfleets against the UE. But then I realized the horror of what I was doing. One day, we launched an all out attack on a world called Verril prime. We prevailed, but what followed was an atrocity beyond description. They bombarded the world--they totally destroyed it, Jos. And once the surface was scarred, they entered the atmosphere and destroyed all traces of civlization. All those lives....gone. And I was to blame. I led that attack."
Silence.
"Ever since that day, I knew what I was doing was wrong. I secretly defected and left. But I had nowhere to go. The Voinains wanted me dead once they learned I'd gotten up and left, and the UE would have killed me on sight had I returned. I was an outcast everywhere.....so I left. I didn't know where I was going, I just left."
"Then I came here. I was amazed by the Miranu's peaceful society, their desire to expand and grow--just like the humans, but without division or petty squabbles, or pollution. Then I learned of their troubles in the North Tip, and of the fighting force known as the Zacha who defended them from attack. Here I saw a way to atone for my transgressions--a way to start again and make up for my horrible mistakes."
"But now, they have come. I can only assume my race has fallen. The Miranu are next, if they are not stopped. But we MUST stop them, Jos. I WON'T let my mistake be repeated."
Suddenly, an officer barged in.
"We've just gotten an urgent transmission....its Mira. They're hitting Mira, sir!"
"What?" Delbar said, even though he knew it was true.
Zacha Crusader drew himself to his full height. His eyes narrowed, his face was set. A former destroyer of one world, it was now his duty to save another--and the rest of Miranu civilization.
"Send a transmission to the entire fleet. We're going to slaughter these bastards. Every one"
"Sir!"
Within moments, 15 Crescent Warships, 250 Miranu Gunships, 300 Zacha Fighters, and 300 Zacha Aradas sped off to Mira at top speed......courage in their hearts, vengeance in their souls.
Crusader followed, and instructed ESpilot to do the same......

ESPilot's fleet arrives in Zachit, where he docks at the port and silently slips in while Crusader tells the story. He follows Crusader out, never making a sound, and when they reach the spaceport and are about to go to their own seperate ships, when ESPilot says "I know how you feel, fellow human. Something of the same sort happened to me, and I'll never forget it." and stands there, looking at Crusader who has now come to a dead stop.
Thunder's Miranu Courier had been badly damaged in the battle with the Voinians; nearly destroyed. Thunder had been one of the last to leave Hrekka; he didn't give up the fight against the Voinians until it was clear the Zachit had been utterly defeated. Had he stayed even a minute longer, he and his ship would have been lost.
Now his ship was nearly beyond repair, barely able to make it into the spacedock on Outpost Zachit. Leaving it to his first officer, Thunder heads to the shipyard where he uses his recent pay from the Zachit, combined with some credits he had saved earlier, to buy a Miranu Gunship and outfit it with extra armor and pursuit missiles, using his old ship as the basis. He christened his new gunship the S.S. Martyr. Upon returning to the cargo bay, he found his old ship being repaired, almost ready to fly again. It had come through better than he had expected. Turning to his first officer, Thunder officially transferred the command codes for the courier to him. His old ship would make an excellent escort.
Suddenly a Zachit officer came running into the docking bay, and ran up to Thunder. "Zacha Thunder, the Voinians are attacking Mira! Without help, the Miranu homeworld could fall within days!" Thunder knew what he had to do. He would avenge the loss he had suffered at North Tip Station, and defend the innocent and helpless Miranu civilians from the terror of Voinian attack. As soon as his ships were preped for launch, Thunder entered his new gunship and launched, joining the Zacha fleet heading for Mirava, his old courier right there in formation.
(Crusader - I know you want to write the battle scene; go ahead and use my character as you see fit. :))

The CA fleet hails the Zacha, "Hello. We have come here to help you fight off the Voinians." Cheers are heard over the com. And the CA fleet hypers out along with the Zacha. ----------------------------------------- In the F-25 system, a CA fleet hypers in. The Voinian ships, unaware that the CA have broken the alliance, head towords the CA ships for a security check as usual. Suddenly, they are met by a hail of gunfire! 5 Voinian Frigatesare instantly destroyed. The others, confused, are quickly destroyed. Then they land troops on the planet and take over. Unfortunately for the CA, the Voinians destroy all of the Raptor missile prototypes and Photon cannon blueprints, so the CA don't get the Raptor missiles and Photon Cannons (But the Voinians still have Raptor missiles and they are still researching Photon Weaponry). ----------------------------------------- The Anti-matter beam will be done in 3 posts.

Titan continues to build up ships near Miranu and Zachit space.

In the DSN-2131 system, all is peaceful. Suddenly, a CA fleet hypers into the system. The Renagade ships are cought of guard, and are quikcly destroyed. Then the CA fleet charges the Renagades, guns blazing! The Renagade ships fire all their weapons, but the Azdgari's shields are to strong, and it is of no use. The CA fleet swarms the Renagade defence fleet, destroying it.
Meanwhile, in the Hrekka system, a fleet of CA Warships hyper into the system. The Voinian ships, cought off gaurd, are dissorginized and confused. The CA Warships launch their fighters. Then they pummel the Voinian ships with their Phase-Neutron weaponry. The Voinian ships fire all their weapons, but, again, they have little effect. The CA ships move and destroy the rest of the Voinian ships in the system. They then destroy the rest of the Voinian defence fleet, and call in reinforements, for half the fleet was destroyed.
In the Zanat system, a fleet of CA Warships hyper into the system. The Voinian ships, cought off gaurd, are dissorginized and confused. The CA Warships launch their Azdaras. Then they pummel the Voinian ships with their Phase-Neutron weaponry.The CA ships move and destroy the rest of the Voinian ships in the system. They then destroy the rest of the Voinian defence fleet. But, more than half of the fleet has been destroyed, so they call in reinforements. The transport reinforcements arrive (The warships will arrive later), land troops on the planet, and capture it. ------------------------------------------------------------------- The Anti-matter beam will be done in 2 posts.

I see you've formed a new alliance with the other Strands, and I wish offer the help of my company's products and ships to aid you. I am sending one of my top engineers to Xarnes, the Azdgari outfitting station, to give the shielding engineers a Tomato shield generator for the ships that go through there.
We also have developed (and actually had for a long time) a special weapon called the Pulsefire cannon, that combines negative ion charges (which quickly deplete shields) with superheated gasses creating a power pulse blast the can rip through shielding with at least 4 times the power of a phase-neutron cannon/turret, in the space of a neutron turret because of special Zidagar miniaturization technology (some of our engineers are Strand defects that had access to top-secret secrets), as well as the new E/m cannon/turret that will rip through armor and shields with the damage of a neurton turret. Also, I wouldn't trust these Voinians. I have had dealings with them in the past, and they can and most likely will double-cross you.

I had been building up my forces at DSN-2131 and Hrekka, so I had pretty big fleets at both systems, and you never said how big your fleets were.
