O.K. I have an arada ship and i dont know if i should get a crescent warship. i have the money, but the warship only has like 30 tons of space. Can you get rid of the crescent fighter bay? and can you keep the shield generator on that mission with the azdgari scientist, 'cos i'm still on that string? any posts would be appreciated, thanx tons !

Get a crescent warship, it's alot better than an Arada. You can get rid of the fighter bay, which gives you 80 extra tons of mass. If you're still on the string, I'm pretty sure you keep all the stuff you got

It depends... You'll have seen the Crescent Warship in battle.
Do you prefer raw firepower to speed? And with the Azdgari exp.shield generator I SERIOUSLY suggest you buy a fighter - Crescent fighter or Azdara are good.
See what other people say, but note that in my Crescent Fighter with the Exp. Shield Generator I took on a Zidara's and it's rocket AND it's fighters head to head, my shields never seeming to drop.

but can you keep the exp.shield generator when you buy a new ship? oh and silver dragon, i think i know two things about you: you live in england or somewhere in europe(im guessing), and you like the zidagar, or at least at the time you registered (guessing again). otherwise how would you be posting at weird times like me( i am currently in spain not in washington).

That's two points gained, since I do like the Zidagar.
However, my split personality Jade prefers the Azdgari, and both love the Crescent Fighter.
PS: With the EXP. Shield Generator you'll not have to worry much about your fighter's shields, and the EXP. Shield Generator on warships simply makes them stronger, it doesn't make them invincible. Plus, fighters can actually have a lot of firepower. It's easy to underestimate cannon power because ships that use cannons tend to run at an enemy and only hit with ten or so blasts.
Hmm.....That split personality named Jade is female...I wonder if SilverDragon is too....Hmm.............I like both fighters and warships, so I usually try to find some compromise, such as my current ship the S.S. Honor Blade. It's as fast as an Arada, and has enough firepower to wipe out a UE Cruiser. And BTW, there one single thing that mainly seperates Warships and Cruisers from the Fighters and smaller vessels: the fighter bay. That's right the Fighter Bay. Does anyone ever see anything smaller than a cruiser or warship carry a fighter bay? No. Does anyone usually see AI warships or Cruisers and things like that fly around without fighter bays (with the exception of destroyers/frigates mostly)? No. Although it's not the fighter bay all by itself that defines warship or fighter, it's the main sign that the ship carrying it is a warship. Oh and UltimateRebel, about the CW not having much weapon space, it has 70 tons of cargo. Think Mass Expansion there, or sell the bay. I did both myself.

I didnt bother to read 2 of the posts but want to quickly answer one of your questions. The exp. shield generator is (b)not(b) transportable.
