I've always wondered... when you abort a passenger mission, what happens to the passengers? They definately don't stay aboard until you reach the next planet, because your cargo space empties right away. Do you just shove em out the airlock or something? That ought to affect your legal status.
------------------ Giule out.
The passengers are placed in a matter converter and turned into hyperspace fuel. The process is so inefficient that it doesn't produce enough fuel for you to notice it in your gauge.

Uh... Passengers come aboard, complete with their own Stealth Escape Pod. When you abort a mission, they eject and, uh, make their way back to civilisation. Or something. It would be cool if you had to give away the mission to a passing trader, the way they do to you in EV.

hehehe I always fo it the realistic way... I jettison my cargo along with the passengers... I just have to grin
------------------ Arrrrrrr, matey!!!!
When you abort a mission, passengers are wrapped up in brown paper and launched out of your ship's engines with all of the waste.
And no-one ever finds them as they float along, with a copy of a PC magazine with Bill Gates on the front stuck to their faces......
Haven't you seen them get fired out in that brown paper? If you listen closely enough you can scream in horror at the image on the magazine.
