MAKER OF SW2 2.0, READ THIS!!!!

Hi,
I cannot download SW2 2.0. I mean, it downlaods fine,but Stuffit doen't Expand it. And when I quit Netscape, it disappears. I tried opening stuffit without quitting Netscape and expanding, but it doesn't work. Can anyone help???

What version of Expander are you using? Because that could be a problem if it's too old. Try getting the newest version from (url="http://"http://www.aladdinsys.com/")www.aladdinsys.com/(/url).

I think I remember Kris Hauser saying that EV was an old game, and to sopt playing it. I think I may have a copy of it floating around though, I'll look for it.

I am sorry about 2.0. That was my fault. I screwed it up a bunch. It is probably better that you wait for 2.0.1. I hope to post it sometime this weekend, hopefully today. 2.0.1 will fix all the problems except for the weapons offset problem and the turret blindspot problem. Those are caused by incorrect loading of the resources due to insufficient memory. When I converted SW2 for EVO into SW2 for EV, it worked a lot better, so I am going to release both versions.

Actually the turret blindspot problem is on the flags, the maker put -1. In true fact, it should be 0 for nothing special (I checked it my self).

Thanks Deadman. I have been busting my brains trying to figure that one out. I always hated when I would try and kill something and I coulndn't hit them with my turrets.

This isn't surprising. SW2 was originally an EV plugin, but somehow the EV version seems to have been lost and replaced with a defective port to EVO. No wonder Kris Hauser got so annoyed when people emailed him complaining.
