I am still using EVO 1.01. In it I can only buy 3 emalgha cannons for my ship even though it can hold 5 cannons. It does not make sense to me that the Emalgha would only sell me three cannons for my ship. I was wondering if in the 1.02 you can buy more for your ship.

there is a bug in 1.0.1 that got fixed in 1.0.2 that only lets you buy 5 guns total, instead of the 5 turrets and the 5 guns. You can download a plug-in that fixes that problem, but also, the emalghia only let you buy 3 guns. I don't know why, but the same is for the blaze cannons. i think you can only buy 5 of those or something. Get the plug-in, and it should solve a lot of the problems

I guess the Emalgha are even shorter of metals than I thought - never heard of them rationing them before, though, if you had the cash! Are you certain you didn't still have a couple of blaze turrets or something; did you really fly to Emalgha space with no weapon systems?
Rexbo: It's not a bug; it was intentional. Turretted weapons fill up gun slots now. The 'fixer' for that is, basically, a cheat plug.

Not basically, it is a cheat plug. And I'm guessing you had some other weapons on yoru ship.....

It's not cheating, it's fixing problems like that. In EVO 1.00 and all versions of EV you can have both turretts and guns, but after 1.0.1, SOmeone modified it. I think that was a bad idea. I modified my version of EVO, so I don't need the plug-in.

I had plenty of mass. If you check in re edit it shows that the max number of Em. cannons that can be bought is 3. I can change it if I want, however, I want to know if it was changed in 1.0.2. I just don't like cheating.

You think there's a reason that "someone modified it"?? because it's too good that way. Play the game how it was meant to be.....
