Do you have the perfect ship?

Can you guys believe the Miranu Gunship (my current ship, as aforementioned) only has a crew of 3? When I bought this ship I had 4 Lazira escorts, all have died doing Zachit missions. Since, I have been unable to capture anything larger than a helian, looks as though I may have to upgrade to a larger ship at some point.

I have a UE carrier with every upgrade you can think of, a plasma siphon and 3 Cresent Warship escorts. pretty nfty to.

Igazra with 4 shield enhancers, 5 phase turrets, plasma siphon, bronev plating, dospect armor, 2 fuel scoops, enough fuel for 10 jumps, sensor enhancement,all RCS upgrades, ECM system, nebula penetration device, needle jammer, iff system, mass detector, cloaking device. I modified this ship sooooooo much that it is barely recognizable as an Igazra. It can take on any of the ships on this list.

You know the best is out there, just don't ignore it.

Get this, I own a Voinion Dreadnought and am with the Adzgari. What you do first is use an Arada to get all you can from the Adzgari, head back to UE space and get the cloaking device. Get the mission "destroy Voinion Deadnought" and go buy a Crescent warship but don't complete the mission. Go to the Pax Station which is two jumps away from the Vorik system and capture UE destroyer and Voinion Frigates. Head to miranu space and capture Renegade Warships a.k.a Crescent Warships. Release one UE destroyer and keep on crescent Warships until you have a fleet of them. Head back down to the Pax Station and capture Voinion Cruisers and UE carriers until you have 5,I mean 5, of these.Don't worry about your status with the UE because if you cancel the mission you're marked as a fugitive anyway. Then go to Vorik system,as soon as the Dreadnought arrives cancel the mission and disable it.Don't board it until you cancel the mission then board it.Try to capture it(this may take a couple of tries)but if you fail, go to last pilot and try it again.My dreadnought has a forklift,speed uprgrades, phase turrets and yadadada.Go to a system and sellits starting equipment and buy as much of the upgrade you feel is appropriate. As soon as you leave the planet,all the stuff it started with is gone.So sell as much as you can,then buy stuff to replace it.This strategy is time taking but it works sooner or later. You're all welcome.

I have, like probably everyone else here, many pilot files, but in my most successful one (richest), I fly an Igazra. Its name is the Eagle-5 (I like spaceballs), and I just use it for up close and personal fighting. It doesnt have a thing it came with, besides the paint. I have 5 neutron cannons, 5 neutron turrets, 2 extra fuel tanks, 4 sheild generators, the engine, thrust, and RCS upgrades, needle missile jammer, cloaking device, dospect armor, auto-refueler, and probably some other odds n' ends I can't think of right this moment... oh wait I forgot my Disco Bison bay.. I have two pilot files that fly Igazras.... they're the ones I like playing the most.

One of 'em is just armored to the max, dospect armor, bronev plating, 4 shield generators, 5 neutron turrets, all speed upgrades, and all the other necessary addons.

My other Igazra is more conservative, with dospect, 4 shield generators, 5 phase turrets, 1 Crescent Fighter Bay + 3 Crescent Fighters, 2 Pursuit Missile Launchers + X P. Missiles.

Both of them have 4 Crescent Warship and 2 Igazra escorts (all captured).

The only downside is that I had to work for the Igadzra on both of these pilot files to get rid of all the crap that the Igazras come with.... but, that's ok. It's still fun to go around conquering the galaxy....
