RETURN OF THE JUGGERNAUGHT I finally captured myself a Voinian Dreadnought, but when I landed, all the weapons disappeared from my ship. Whats strange is that the mass stayed the same, so there was no extra room after the weapons disappeared. No more Enhanced Neutron turrets and Voinian interceptors for my ship. How can I get them back?

Ya need to make oütf resources for the weaps and get a new Dreadnaught.

Actually if you use the mass expansions (and freighter upgrade) plus the extra 150 in space it already has them you can pretty fully outfit all the turrets and speed upgrades. But there would not be any room for secondaries unless you had the plasma siphon.
You might have done better to keep it as an escort. Escorts are not suddenly modified by the removal of all the non-player gear the next time you, the player, happen to visit an outfitter. If you chose to take it as an escort, it would probably survive almost anything the AIs could throw at it, and it would launch loads of fighters and fire rockets on your behalf... which you wouldn't have to pay for! I appreciate that it's very, very tempting to take the thing and fly it yourself, to see how it handles... but the best thing you could do would be to leave it as an AI ship.

YOu captured the Dreadnought? Wow! Good job! Which mission did you get it on? The scouting or the attacking?

You can only capture it in the scouting phase, in the attacking it's impossible to capture it.

Yes. I learned the hard way that in 1.0.2, the destroy the Dreadnought mission can not be aborted; you have to capture it after scouting. I think i'll try capturing a smaller ship (Igazra maybe) and making the dreadnought my escort. It might be fun to watch two Dreadnoughts go at each other on my next scouting mission.
Another question. When you have a Warship or interceptor as your escort, why isn't their cago space added to that of your fleet? That has always bothered me.
Only freight-type ships can add cargo space, for some bizarre reason. Maybe they just assume that if you go around capturing/hiring warships and fighters, you're not exactly the "peaceful merchant" type (although most peaceful merchants don't attack other peaceful merchants.) That bugs me, too.
