This is a screwy one: After finding the first two missing Thor Freighters and waiting for info on the third, I plundered a pirate ship, took his cargo, then decided I wanted to take on a mission for which I needed to jettison the cargo to create space.
So I did, and... OH NO! "Mission Failed" appeared. Like an idiot, I guess I must have landed again instead of finding someone to kill me and undo my mistake.
I tried to pick the mission back up, but couldn't. HOWEVER, oddly enough, it seemed to continue -- I got the new information, and found RESCUE!, but without any acknowledgement that I'd completed the mission.
Hmm... I have a feeling I'm screwed. If anyone can see a way out other than restarting, please help!!

Did you back up your pilot? If not, you are "screwed".You should always back your pilot often,a specially before excepting major missions. Also,be careful how you use the word "idiot".

There's no "savant" attached to this idiot. It seems I didn't back up my pilot. Ah well -- at least I get to enjoy the excitement of accomplishment... a second time.
Oy. Thanks for your reply, Monsieur le Savant!
