I've been taking over some systems, and there seems to be no end to the milita forces. On some is there really no end?
No, they all have an end.
Some, however (earth, voinia, council station) have over 3,000 ships, which may feel like forever.

Nah, OF's just an all around helpful guy. As for taking over planets... start with the small back-water stations. Very small fleets, but still give out 1K-4K credits.

Theres a plug-in to have all ships launch from the planet at once on the addons page. Just make sure your ready for alot of action all at once.
