Out of curiosity, why do you say so? I've been playing EV more then EVO lately, but I still think I like them about the same. I didn't like Override very much when I first started playing it, but that changed pretty fast...

But anyway, though EV is good for beginners, EVO is also quite nice, and EVN'll be even better.

i agree with skyblade, when i first started playing EVO, i felt like crying. the UE ships were a hideous welcome to the game, and not until i began to appricate the full scope of the game, and the variety of vessels, did i start to like it. but let me tell ya, when you go from a cool looking, snazy colored, graceful rebel warship, to that flying trash can shooting red things that look like they belong on an old school atari game, it is kind of a let down. the game on the whole is execlant of course, and i've even started developing a soft spot for UE design

I was horrified by the UE and I was really disappointes, now I play EVO way more

EV is better than EVO, mostly for graphical reasons, but also for a few others. EV had a much better (or at least more complex) background story to it. In EVO, the background story was basically that the Voinians attacked, and the UE fought back, while some things are left totally unexplained. The whole of EV seemed more realistic, and the different misson groups fit together better (they were all related, while the ones in EVO are all over the place, some having absolutel nothing to do with others). The only parts of EVO that were clearly superior to EV were the greater number of missions, and the larger galaxy.
